I figured it might be a challenge to role-play a young thief that's trying to follow a new path of honesty and change his former reputation - and by joining a noble band of Rangers dedicated to protecting the lands sounds like a good place to start.
----------------------------------------
Name: Eodain Cadori
Place of Birth: City of Britain
Race: Human
Age: Around 30 years of age, appears older then one might notice due to extreme stress while living as a teenager.
Hair: Charcoal colored hair, a mix of youthful dark and a bit of graying at the temples with a eternal stubble covering his cheeks.
Eyes: Green
Skin Color: Pale
Height: Average, roughly 6 feet tall.

Beginnings

Eodain survived a parentless life with his two sisters, Caelia and Helene, in the streets of Britain as child urchins.
Eventually he was taken into a life of thievery by an old rogue named Kalaric Anders. Kalaric was the guildmaster of the newly formed Guild of Thieves.
Kalaric mentored Eodain and served as a father figure to the boy, teaching him swashbuckling, infiltration and the art of furtive movements.
Eodain's sisters benefited from the fine linens, food and gold he would bring them.
The Guild of Thieves initially stood for honorable causes - honorable enough for a group of miscreant knaves. They did not kill, only stole from those who did not need it, and helped those in need.
As the years passed and Eodain grew into a young man the Guild began to change. They began serving the needs of merchant trade companies. Corruption and greed began to take hold of Kalaric and the Guild rose in power, becoming wealthy and intimidating.
Eodain became distant from Kalaric, often arguing about the direction of their organization.

The Point of No Return
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The guildmaster Kalaric was responsible for a certain number of "misfortunes" that befell a rival trade company ran by the gluttonous Lord Salthazar, also known as "The Mammoth" for his reputation as Britain's largest, and most dangerous merchant kingpin.
When Salthazar could not locate Kalaric on his own he sent his mercenaries to kidnap Eodain's siblings, in an effort to lure Kalaric's closest guildmate to him.
Eodain betrayed Kalaric and revealed his hiding place to Salthazar, who soon dispatched guards to imprison him.
Salthazar continued to show his rage by executing Caelia and Helene, Eodain's sisters, and banished Eodain from the city of Britain.
The remaining members of the Guild of Thieves also threatened to have him killed if he attempted to return.
The young rogue's options were diminished. He had no choice but to take to the wilds in hiding.
Four Years Later - Spiritwood Forest
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been years since Kalaric was imprisoned. Since Eodain's sisters were killed and his life in Britain ended.
The burdens of death and guilt of betrayal weighed heavily on his shoulders.
Since those days he'd been traveling the forests in Britannia, helping wanderers on the roads, learning to hunt and survive on his own. In many ways the beauty of Nature helped him see things differently, he studied the trees, the animals and the world around him in new ways.
He met a priest at the Shrine of Spirituality that taught him of the path to Truth, Courage and Inner Being.
Whispers by travelers on the roads met his ears of a group of Rangers forming near Skara Brae, led by a woman named Corinna, who was training a new regiment that would protect Britannia and follow the Virtue of Spirituality.
Eodain had been alone in the forests for as long as he could remember now and meeting this group of Rangers might help him seek out and understand the path of Spirituality. He knew the Rangers were long known as Watchmen of the roads. Perhaps it was an honorable profession he could be put to use in.
He headed to Spiritwood Forest.
