Raymond Lyons of Minoc, agent of the newly crowned Lord Blackthorn, has requested that people meet him at the West Britain Counselor Hall on Saturday, October 13, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Previously, Raymond had stated that Blackthorn has tasked him with leading a new city watch organization, so this might be related to that.

I like the way Tibby takes what is supposedly millenia-old oral history, which should be muddled and only vaguely related to reality under the best of circumstances, and presents it like he's talking about something he just saw on TV.
We don't get "The old stories say that once upon a time the gypsies were a mighty people, ruled over by a wicked pharaoh. Some stories say that Vashna was this pharaoh, and that his guards murdered him for his wickedness. Others say that Vashna was the pharaoh's necromancer, put to death for coveting the pharaoh's wife. Either way, as he died, he cast a powerful curse over our people."
Instead we get "So yeah we were Zealans from the land of Zealan and the pharaoh was a dick but we like totally tried to stop him" all fired off with perfect clarity in a first-person past tense that makes it sound like he was supposed to have been there. It's myth and legend about an ancient curse, Tibby, put a little mystery into the presentation.

I was just happy with the Ultima VIII reference. Even though Ultima VIII wasn't that good of a game ...
And you were right last night, we totally have to call Alisiea a "Zealan" now.
