I have been researching ancient texts seeking information on the Empath Abbey. I discovered an ancient text addressing the very situation Yew now faces with the Abbey. This text gives Idril the right to appoint an interim Abbot due to the current unrest the Abbey faces.
Itannar, in his investigation of the Abbey and after his conversation with James discovered that a large majority of the abbots were unsatisfied with Abbot Costello. The monks are reported to believe the ideals and mission of the Empath Abbey have been gravely compromised.
Itannar also reported that after Abbot Costello’s death, several abbots who left the order, have returned and are seeking to restore Empath Abbey to its original mission. One such monk, Brother Imladris, stood out among all the monks as most capable of achieving this job.
I thereby appoint Brother Imladris to the role of acting Abbot until such time the monks in Empath Abbey are able to clean iu8p the current mess and resume their vital role in Yew society.
