Yew Summer Festival, Hosted by The Rebel Rovers, Aug 18 & 20

The Rebel Rovers are thrilled to announce a two-day Summer Festival. Our goal is to bring excitement and engage the community. The festival will take place on Friday and Sunday, respectively. (August 18th and 20th)

The opening ceremony will be conducted by Idril, the Governor of Yew, and The Rovers will be the sponsors of the festival.

 
On Friday, we will host the "Barn Yard Race" in the City of Yew. The event will be divided into four rounds, with participants being able to enter with any of the specified animals- Sheep, Pig, Cow, and Chicken. The race will consist of three laps, marked within the township of Yew. The winners of the first three relays will proceed to compete in the fourth round for the grand prize of 80 million gold. Second place will receive 50 million gold, while third place would receive 20 million gold.

There will also be THREE mini events, prizes to include a full soulstone (your choice of color), 20 million gold and one surprise gift.




In the Golden Bag game, three hosts will hide One Golden Bag between them. One player will be randomly chosen and invited to guess on which host is holding the Golden Bag. The bag will randomly shuffle every time a new contestant approaches. 20 MILLION GOLD will be given to one lucky contestant upon finding the Golden Bag.





All attendees will be given a ticket upon their arrival. Each ticket will have a unique 6-digit code along with a corresponding word to ensure the integrity of the draw. During the second intermission, a random ticket will be selected and one lucky winner will receive a Full Soulstone Token of their choice from the UO Store.


Similar to Musical Chairs, Hot Seat will see Five
Lucky Contestants playing. When the Host Yells COLD SEAT, the players walk around the chairs. When the words HOT SEAT are yelled, players sit down in the nearest chair as soon as they can. The one player who does not have a chair is out. One of the chairs is then removed, and the game continues in this manner. A "Surprise Prize" will be given to the winner.

(All contestants for each mini-game will be chosen at random, similar to "Price is Right.")



Sunday at 8:30pm, we will cap off the festival with an Improv Tavern night in which contestants will tell a story using random props provided to them. EM Obsidian will be our guest judge. Further Details will given at Tavern Night, Located at the Knights Rest.

The Rebel Rovers plan to work closely with the Governor of Yew and EM Obsidian to ensure we bring you a Summer Festival to Remember. I truly hope this event will not only provide excitement and enjoyment to all the players on Catskills but also bring a positive impact on our future goals in the community.
