The Fellowship of the Broken Ankh
\+/
Background: In a past storyline, Enoch the Wise appeared while the Broken Ankh cult was causing mayhem in Britannia. Enoch, also a believer in the Broken Ankh, preached that the Healer and his followers were false believers and adhered to a dogma that was a distortion of their Prophet's true teachings. The true teachings of the Broken Ankh, according to Enoch, taught peace and harmony rather than violence and death that the Healer committed. Hence, Enoch founded the Fellowship of the Broken Ankh, to serve two essential functions: 1) to combat the lies of the cultists, and 2) to spread the true and benevolent teachings of the Broken Ankh. Enoch built up the Fellowship of the Broken Ankh to include three chapters - the first and primary chapter existing in Jhelom, the second chapter based in the General's Home Shelter in Trinsic. The third and most recent chapter was opened in Britain on 2/7/2019 (Deraj-Time™: 3/21/323), and thus has been around for about a year.
Characters: I am mainly looking for characters that are more open-ended in nature. Brand new characters with fresh skill sets (geared towards combat) are my first recommendation, as they are low-investment. If you are interested in joining with a more established character that is less open-ended, that is okay as well. Good candidates for new characters are peasant-types that are looking for spiritual answers to life and find Enoch's words compelling. Because the FBA has existed in Britain for about a year, I'd like for some of these characters to join retroactively, which is to say, to presume they've been a part of the FBA for awhile and assigned a rank. Generally speaking, the characters should be good-natured people looking to better themselves, and should be able to work together with minimal strife (and nothing that leads to violence between them).
Ranks: The FBA will employ this ranking structure, however the ranks are purely for RP purposes. There is no promotion system, so the characters should focus more on being what they are - vying for higher ranks should purely be an RP thing and if necessary can be worked out OOC where needed.
-Patriarch (Enoch)
-Branch Leader (if necessary)
-Advocate (the veteran rank)
-Student (the standard rank)
-Novitiate (for the newly joined)
Activities: Most of the activity for the FBA will take place through scheduled events. This will include some tavern nights, public sermons, private meetings, and some hunts. Naturally, if anyone wants to play their FBA characters beyond that I think that would be great. This guild is meant to be a little more open-ended in nature and experimental, to think of this as a potential opportunity to try something new.
