Name: Orodreth
Age: Unknown
Race: Unknown, seemingly not human but with many characteristics of the human race
Eyes: Black
Height: 5'10"
Hair: Long brown hair with a full beard
Demeanor: A gentle calming disposition, looks for the good in all and best of every situation.
Occupation: Teacher and Scholar at the Moonglow Lycaeum. Keeper of the Stone for the Kingdom of Everthorne. Diplomat for Yew, Everthorne and the Order of Thistle.
History: He seems to have first appeared during the fall of Trinsic and the Minax Invasion also called the Second War of Darkness, like many he was severely wounded by a Black Bone Knight in the defense of Trinsic leading to the construction of The Black Temple by Juo'nar. As the wars continued long after Trinsic he returned to Moonglow and the Lycaeum and there taught studies in virtue, arcane arts and mysticism. A noted student of this time was the young elf lord Glorfindel.
After many years on the isle of Moonglow he embarked on a sabbatical away to visit each of the Shrines of Virtue. At the shrine of Justice he encountered a critically injured soldier, he tended to the wounded soldier for several days when it appeared he would recover the soldier then pleaded with Orodreth to return with him to his home, a city called Chalcedon and the capital city of The Byzantine Empire. Orodreth reluctantly agreed. They arrived at the height of the reign of Emperor Maximus of Byzantium. Orodreth quickly was elevated to the rank of Pontifex with his infamous battles in the forest of Yew with the campaigns against the Undead forces and their leaders the Ancient Ones who were very prevalent and powerful in those days. The battles for control of Yew were exhausting for Orodreth and with the Byzantines who consolidated power with merger of the Yew Militia and becoming the Numenorean Empire, Orodreth retired to Empath Abbey in Yew for study and reflection. But with growing dissent within the nobility of the Empire, a leader of the resistance emerged. Augustus Maximus a former Cataphract and now the new leader of the Republic who was the soldier nursed back to health at the Shrine of Justice, commissioned Orodreth to lead the clergy and to help with the Republic's new holy war. The years of constant war took a toll on both Yew and Skara Brae, Skara became the last outpost of the dying Republic. The son of Augustus, Lamorak formed an order of knights to help defend the island and the Republic's last stand. This order was called The Last Dynasty. Acting as an advisor and counselor, Orodreth orchestrated the merger with the Republic along with the elven ranger Glorfindel and Lamorak to both preserve the heritage of the "Tagmata" which acted as both the royal guard and preserver of the heritage and history of the Order and its linage back to the Emperors, Orodreth then returned home to Moonglow.
The Ophedian Wars: Orodreth with Glorfindel fought to defend Papua and Vesper from the Ophedians, war started by a thief. He was later tried in Yew for his crimes. A very public trial with which Orodreth attended.
Connemara and Everthorne: When Glorfindel was a Knight of Connemara he traveled to Moonglow with a young orphaned child named Octavius, Glorfindel added the name Sestius after Augustus. Orodreth was asked to tutor and train the young boy in virtue and history. With the coronation of Glorfindel and Ismene, Orodreth stayed home in Moonglow to defend the Lycaeum against the Dark Wisps and to find the Book of Truth.
The Magincia Invasion: The city of pride was invaded. Orodreth and many others fought to defend Magincia from the deamonic onslaught. With the murder of the Ruling Council and burning of Everthorne, Orodreth sought refuge in Empath Abbey once more and currently with the return to Yew of the Archon amidst the ashes, Orodreth imbued and forged The Seraph of Everthorne
to protect the Garden from any such attack again.
