The following information has been provided by the Gentleman at various times -- its veracity depends on whether you trust his word...
Given Name: Unknown
Other Names: The Gentleman
Place of Birth: Shadowclan Orc Fort
Current Home(s): Britain and Trinsic
Known Relatives: Unknown
Other Affiliations: Sosarian Socialist Party
Race: Orc
Age: He's an orc, so it's unclear. Maybe in his 30s-40s?
Hair: None.
Eyes: Black.
Skin Tone: Orc-ey.
Height: 6'2
Build: He is tall and rather well-built, though on the leaner side, for an Orc.
Demeanor: The Gentleman speaks, moves and acts like... well, a gentleman. His clothes -- both his regular wear and his armor -- is of the finest quality, always clean, always well-kept. In general, he is very polite and rather good-natured... though there is a fervency to him, particularly when he discusses helping the poor or his beliefs on Socialism and Separatism. For those who have seen it, he can go very quickly from being a gentleman to stabbing someone in the stomach and throwing them off a boat.
He smells of lavender.
Equipment: He often walks with a well-crafted spear, while a kryss hangs at his belt. He is almost never seen without his perfectly white gloves and stylish red hat.
He rides a large wolf named Scurvy.
Known History: According to the Gentleman, he was taken as a child from the Shadowclan Fort and sold into slavery. His purchaser was a pirate named The Captain, who raised him, taught him to read, fight, speak, and, most importantly, be a perfect gentleman. The orc took to the training quickly and soon earned himself his moniker. It's during this time that the Gentleman met Ine Dir'ath -- a Socialist -- while both were visiting Buccaneer's Den. Ine seemed to accept him immediately -- a rarity for the Orc -- and the two struck up a friendship. While they saw each other little, they exchanged letters regularly and considered one another close.
The Gentleman travelled with his band of pirates well into his teens, until the Captain was killed and the band defeated. The Orc survived and went to the mainland, seeking a home for himself -- but he was turned away or attacked everywhere he went. Finally, he found refuge in Tokuno, where he seemed to be accepted... at least at first. He lived there for years, training with the bushido masters and building on his significant skills as a fighter.
Unfortunately, when a local boy was murdered and the culprit wasn't found, the people quickly turned on the monster in their midst: the Gentleman. While many of the people -- particularly in the lower-class, who he often helped with gifts of money and labor -- fought to let him live there, the authorities demanded he leave or be arrested for his crimes. And so, once again, the Gentleman was homeless.
After Tokuno, he spent time in the Royal City -- the only other place that seemed to accept him -- and began doing work for General Ine -- who had now become the Governor of Trinsic.
Where the Gentleman was or what, exactly, was the work he did in this time is unclear... what is clear however is that he appeared in Trinsic soon after Ine's death and has been in charge of running the Trinsic shelter and spreading Ine's teachings across the land.
Aside from being a Socialist, the Gentleman is a separatist and believes that Britannia should rid itself of the King, with the cities becoming wholly independent city-states. He has said, on multiple occasions, that this is a cause he intends to die for.
