(The writing in this report is neat and simple, almost mechanical in its precision. There are a few indications it was written left-handed.)
Sir,
I traveled to the Jhelom today to listen to the Broken Ankh's story. As a story, it all seems to hang together quite nicely. They have their bad guys, they're the good guys, and everything seems on the up-and-up.
According to the story (assuming I understood correctly), the Broken Ankh is a group dating back many years, their beliefs largely passed through families. They believe in "true Britannians," and believe the actions of the Stranger (I believe that's who they were speaking of) broke most Britannians somehow, or caused them to be born broken. We all were exceptions, of course. The Broken Ankh believes in encourage the broken Britannians to be true Britannians, and supporting true Britannians.
The Evil Broken Ankh takes much the same view, but believes the way forward is the killing of the broken Britannians. Did I mention they're supposed to be evil?
I will ask more questions when I see them, but in regards to their secrets… I will have to be careful. Unless I can ascertain their true meeting place, that will be a slow process. I'm not sure I got even this right. Although I tried to listen carefully, I had to affect only modest interest and was forced for personal reasons to depart immediate after.
I agree with you there is cause for concern here, but I can't put a finger on the details yet. We still need to investigate to confirm there are two separate entities at work here, not just one with two faces.
