Hey guys,
I'd like to work on a crafter because I miss having one. I'm up for almost anything, so are we missing anything in particular?
Thanks!

I wrote this in slack but I'll put it here for posterity. My crafter has these skills: 120 Blacksmithing 120 Tailoring 120 Imbuing 100 Arms Lore 100 Carpentry 100 Tinkering 45 cooking (for basic stuff) 15 music (45 with jewelry, for instruments) 100 Fletching (on a soulstone)
The first 4 skills in that list are the most necessary for some serious armor/weapon crafting.

I may have a couple of 120 scrolls in Smithing and Tailoring you can have. One of the more popular craft skills is Imbuing.

I'm not sure yet how the crafting skills depend on each other. I keep finding outdated information on it.
I loved tailoring, though.

Just off the top of my head, when you are crafting stuff with Blacksmithing and Tailoring, having GM Arms Lore will add 5% Damage increase to weapons (pointless), and 5 points to total resists randomly (very useful).
Having imbuing will allow you use to use runic sewing kits and runic hammers to reforge items. Reforging involves adding magic properties to armor and weapons - a lot of what is produced in reforging is garbage but reforging does allow certain specific attributes that can't be imbued to certain items, and in some cases over the normal cap too.
Once an item is imbued, you cannot apply powder of fortification to it (which increases the max durability). So there is a certain general order to crafting an item:
1. Craft the item 2. Reforge (only if you're looking for something that requires reforging to produce) 3. Apply powder of fortification 4. Imbue the item (start with attributes that require relic fragments first) 5. Enhance (only if necessary, and you MUST use a Forged Metal of Artifacts otherwise you will lose the item)
That's all I can think of at the moment. For a tailor I would recommend having at least 3 skills: Tailoring 120, Imbuing 120, Arms Lore 100. With those 3 skills you will be able to craft the best stuff that is possible to be crafted. Arms Lore will let you get the most possible resists on crafted armor. Imbuing will let you imbue and reforge what you make.

Some additional information: www.uoguide.com/Runic_Re-ForgingThis page is mostly up to date I think, and shows you what kind of stuff you can reforge onto certain types of items. If you make a character on Test Center, you will be provided with runic tools that you can test out too if you want to try it out at no cost. www.knuckleheads.dk/tools/imbuingVery useful tool for planning out how to imbue an item.
