Amon sat quietly within The Shattered Skull. He had wished to get some sleep, however bad dreams had a way of interrupting his peace as of late. He thought on the people he'd met since he was saved that night. Each of them had things he enjoyed about them...
Tserim.... He was a jovial soul. Amon had not once seen him succumb to anger or sadness. He saw the world in a positive manner.
Tobias, He was strange at times but funny in an awkward way. Seemed to be more to him than he let on, Something Amon could understand.
Gillian, She was a strong woman and one with an attitude he couldn't help but admire, she might lose her temper now and then but he couldn't help but smile around her.
Katalin, She always seemed so down by herself, Amon wondered if she somehow felt like an outsider at times. He always felt sympathy for her, she always seemed to get caught in the middle of things. Something about her made him feel awkward though.
Mylar, Such a naive girl, confused but at the same time a heart of gold. There was such a thing as being too nice, but it hurts her morr than it ever will anyone else.
He hadn't gotten to know the others too well yet. But he could feel something in him pulling him towards these people. He never really had real friends in his life. He wasn't really sure if they saw him in the same light however. Who knows what Collins had told them. He sighed as he looked around the empty tavern.
"Seems things always end with me alone.... " He thought to himself.
He had dreamed of her yet again. He didn't understand it, he had no reason to think of her. Even in his dream every move she made was so real to him, the way she looked at him brought back old feelings left untapped. His heart had been left cold ever since that night, Yet this dream came along trying to stir it to beat once again. her long red hair fell neatly to her shoulders, framing her green eyes in such a way they pierced his very soul. Her short stature and the coy little smile was enough to get his pulse racing. He wanted to embrace her.... he wanted her near him. He reached for her but stopped himself short.
"No..... I won't do this.... you aren't real...." Amon spoke as he looked upon the young female.
"Don't you want me... Amon?" The young redhead spoke almost sadly.
"More than you can ever imagine.... but this isn't real.... you aren't real." Amon spoke adamantly
"Do you hate me?" The young woman asked him.
"No..... I don't.... Elsie... I can't desire a dream" Amon spoke, the young girl seemed to lower her head sadly and slowly vanished.
Amon had woken shortly after this and found his way back to the tavern. He still had no answer to who he really was... if he was a bad person or good. But he knew one thing.
"I just want to be happy again.... for real this time......"
