Given Name: Ine Dir'ath
Other Names: The General
Current Titles: Governor of Trinsic, the General
Place of Birth: Ine has mentioned multiple times that he was born in the slums of Britain.
Current Home(s): Trinsic
Known Relatives: Ine has never spoken of his family.
Other Affiliations: Sosarian Socialist Party
Race: Human
Age: He is in his late 30s/early 40s.
Hair: Dirty blond.
Eyes: Dark brown.
Skin Tone: On the darker side of things.
Height: 5'10
Build: He is slim, but in good-shape. He is more agile than strong.
Demeanor: Ine walks into a room like there are trumpets that had previously announced him. He takes every chance he can to turn conversations toward things that he finds important, namely: the poor, social inequalities and the evils of magic and mages. He has a way of getting under people's skin -- be it because of the things he says or how he says them.
Equipment: Ine's tricorn hat is his prized possession. Now patched in multiple places where arrows have taken it off his head, he is never seen without it. The peasants around Trinsic have come to call it the, "hat of the people" and have included it in their statue of the Governor in the up-and-coming homeless shelter.
He also rides a horse named Mage.
Known History: All that's known of Ine is what he's let slip in conversation. Namely: he was born in the slums of Britain and, as a young man, joined the Sosarian Socialist Party when they came into town, preaching their word.
Ine traveled the world with the Socialists, helping them spread their word of economic and social equality. With the arrival of Ine's old friend, Gordon Sullivan, it was learned that Ine and the Socialists fought in the Faction Wars for the True Britannians. It's here that Ine earned his rank of general -- though, not much is known from his time in the battles.
Despite the SSP disbanding a long time ago, Ine has only reappeared in Trinsic a year ago. What happened between the wars and now is yet unknown.
His stay in Trinsic has been full of activity, however. His first month saw him attacked by the traitor mage, Faeryl, while he was preaching against the evils of magery. She was tried in court and forced to write Ine an apology note. Copies of the note were made and spread all over the city -- "So the people know that the mages are fallible, that they too can be made to bend their knee."
After the trial, Ine found himself in high demand amongst the peasants -- particularly as attacks by the evil mage, Thalmain Shaste were ratcheting up. A few months into his stay, Ine announced that he'd be running for governor -- finding Lyra Darkstar's policies lacking.
As the elections neared, Faeryl was kidnapped by Shaste, who demanded Lyra Darkstar in trade. Before the others could mobilize and think of a plan, the old governor left her post and gave herself over to the mad mage -- who kept her captive until the election was over.
Ine won the election handily. Since then, he has built a militia (if you're visiting, make sure to ask them their names, about their jobs, and what they think of Trinsic!) and is currently constructing a homeless shelter in the old counselor's guild.
