Birth Name: Dezera

Hair: Jet black, falling just below her shoulder blades
Eyes: Hazel, more green than brown
Skin Tone: Tanned
Height: 5'8"
Build: Prominent hourglass figure, with an ample chest, that's well toned from training.
Markings:
- Tattoo of a crooked dagger on her left leg that is quite visible. The hilt starts just below her hip with the tip of the blade ending at the middle of her outer thigh.

Demeanor: Her facial features could be considered attractive to most and carries herself with an air of confidence. In public settings, outside of Jhelom, she is generally courteous albeit cheeky at times and takes great care in measuring her words when responding to others. Regarding her personal life and jobs that she takes, Dezera is particularly private and makes that clearly known to those that she deals with.
Dezera served as the Governor of Jhelom for several successful terms with almost no incidents, and is well known amongst those in the city. During this time, she openly welcomed Enoch, from a sect of the Broken Ankh, into the city while he helped those in need. At times she would be seen nearby him in a manner that would depict a guard. While not widely known, Dezera occasionally did work for the sorcerer Relthor, associated with the Broken Ankh, and was present for the accidental summoning of Chanticleer Reich to this realm.
Following this incident, Dezera received the approval of the Sultan and Vizier to station a few members from the Library of Scars, handpicked by her, to safeguard Nujel’m from further attacks if the Zealot were to appear again. Although this was unpopular with some, including King Blackthorn and the Noble Houses, they did not act against it.

Armor, Equipment, and Attire: Form fitting black studded leather (mostly) that appears well made and maintained, with her belt and sash bearing the color of the Library of Scars. Her armor is purposefully revealing with her thighs, midriff, and a large amount of cleavage visible. She can also be seen wearing a black hooded robe, that tends to hide a good portion of her face. Dezera carries a katana, kite shield, and a couple of daggers that are not normally visible and she is usually seen fighting in the form of a banshee.
Currently Known History: Almost nothing is known about Dezera’s early years, except that she joined the Library of Scars at a young age.
When the Rangers of Spiritwood and Ranger’s Guild of Skara Brae were in conflict, she unexpectedly learned more of the Blackwell line. More specifically that Katalin Blackwell, a member of the Rangers of Spiritwood, was a distant cousin. She rarely comments on this or what was learned.
After experiencing a strangely common vision with the girl Denna Zhalfast, Dezera became aware of a potential danger coming to Nujel'm. The following day, she gathered a small crew to travel there, where they converged with a group of Holy Fist members. The two groups visited the site of the vision outside of the city's north gates and towards the poor quarter. It was here that they were confronted by the mysterious being known as the Zealot, who declared that Nujel'm would be destroyed. The Zealot then opened a dark portal from which an overwhelming number of void monstrosities emerged. A difficult fight ensued until Dezera, using a concealed item that gave off a strange blue glow, was able to invoke a spell that closed the portal.
A little over a year later, Dezera chose not to seek re-election as Governor of Jhelom. She moved to Nujel’m for unknown reasons and was succeeded in office by her predecessor, Frey. She remained there until her men at the northern gates were assassinated and an attempt was made on her own life, at which point she returned to Jhelom.
Other Notes: Dezera is frequently seen in the company of Edgar Craigen and those that call themselves the Fist. She also has ties to fellow Library of the Scars member Rorik, the bard Frey, and the merchant sailor John Merrick.
